Why We Treat Water

Water, one of the best solvents in the world, dissolves and takes the things from the environment it passes through. The rainwater said to be pure water, dissolves the gases and loses its impurity as it passes through the air.

The water, which we know is not pure even at its source, dissolves the material of pipes, tankers or containers while it is transported in any way.

The available water is treated by various technological equipment and methods such as Drinking water, Soft water, RO water, Deionized water "Demineralized water," Special mineral water or Ultrapure water according to the purpose of use.

There are two main criteria in water treatment.

1.The characterization of the existing raw water

2. Desired water characterization

Design cannot be prepared without determining these criteria, and the amount of need, that means the flow rate. For example, the need for a cooling tower is filtered raw water, whereas a medium and low-pressure steam boiler requires soft water and a high-pressure steam boiler requires demineralized water. When preparing drinking water, removal of the chemical compounds that may cause problems in human health and providing water that will give sensory pleasure are the priorities. On the other hand, ultra-pure water production is the requirement of a laboratory.

Preparing water requires tailor-made precision. At the same time, you should fulfill the correct water composition with the correct design, correct application and, with the most economical conditions.

During the operation and utilization of water, the continuity of the correct composition of the treated water in the treatment should be checked continuously.
If the system does not produce the desired water quality, it must be corrected by expert engineers and technicians by taking necessary actions.
