The KoçSistem Data Center building is the largest IT center in Turkey and established in Istanbul Çamlıca region. This building contains the largest free-cooling system in Turkey. Concerning green data center concept (Green Datacenter) of this building, flushing application in the high-density cooling system and BASF Glythermin freezing and anti-corrosion chemical dosing process has been implemented.

For IT systems in the 20-170 kW cooling range, to be used in areas such as data centers, system salons, simulation laboratories, highly automated offices and clean rooms that require weather conditions with precise tolerances with 24/7 air conditioning with cooling, electrical heating, humidification, and dehumidification functions, the designed cooling system was subjected to flushing (chemical washing) for an average of two weeks.
 The flushing process was carried out online, and the system operated continuously throughout the washing. During the operation, washing was completed with high efficiency by monitoring the relevant water analysis.

After the procedure, the BASF Glytherm series of freezing and corrosion-inhibiting chemicals again online (when running chillers) dosed to the system in stages, we are the distributor of this brand of chemical in Turkey and it has the best ASTMD corrosion test results compared to its equivalents.
